Last week, we officially presented the Tactical Management Playbook S1-26, with the participation of the Board and the management team. This document marks an important milestone in how we translate strategy into execution during a highly dynamic and uncertain context.
The Tactical Playbook is a 40+ page management document designed to run in parallel with our Strategic Plan 2025–2026. While the Strategic Plan defines long-term direction, priorities, and capability building over a multi-year horizon, the Tactical Playbook focuses on how we execute today. Its scope is intentionally narrower and sharper: a 180-day execution window, reviewed monthly, with clear priorities, decision criteria, and governance rules.
This distinction is critical. Strategy and tactics do not compete — they complement each other. Strategy sets the destination; the Tactical Playbook defines the pace, focus, and trade-offs required to move forward coherently in the short term. In environments where volatility is structural rather than exceptional, disciplined tactical execution becomes a competitive advantage.
Most importantly, this playbook is not a standalone or top-down document. It is the result of a structured and collective strategic process that unfolded over several stages:
-
A Partners Strategic Retreat, where long-term challenges and execution signals were discussed
-
Two Looking Back and Looking Forward sessions, where managers shared insights from the previous semester and identified priorities for S1-26
-
Principals Validation & Scenario Definition sessions, where inputs were validated, tensions discussed, and projected scenarios defined
-
Final consolidation of the Tactical Management Playbook, formally presented by the CEO
This process ensured that the playbook reflects both ground-level execution realities and leadership-level strategic intent.
The objective of the Tactical Playbook is simple but demanding: to create greater clarity, stronger focus, and disciplined execution across the organization. It provides a shared language for decision-making, a clear governance cadence, and a consistent way to navigate trade-offs under pressure.
Ultimately, the Tactical Management Playbook S1-26 represents a shift in how we operate: moving from intuition-led execution toward a more structured, data-informed, and system-driven approach.
This is part of what we call Next Blend — a new chapter focused on clarity, accountability, and execution maturity.
