We’re excited to be joining fellow members at the upcoming Urban Land Institute Los Angeles Membership Mixer, a special edition of the event honoring Black History Month. The evening will bring together AEC industry leaders for networking, shared insights, and meaningful conversations around community, resilience, and the future of the built environment in Los Angeles.
Why We're Attending
At Blend, we believe that strong communities are built through collaboration, informed decision-making, and inclusive dialogue. This Membership Mixer offers a valuable opportunity to engage with industry peers while reflecting on the social and cultural dimensions that shape urban development.
A key highlight of the event will be an impactful discussion featuring visionary architecture and energy leaders Matthew Trotter, President of SoCal NOMA, and Lance Collins, Director of Partner Energy. The conversation will focus on the Altadena community one year after the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, exploring personal stories, historical context, and perspectives on the road ahead for rebuilding efforts.
As climate-related challenges continue to affect cities across California, these discussions are essential to understanding how architecture, planning, and technology can support resilient, community-driven recovery strategies.
Meet our team
Our Chief Business Development Officer, Jeffrey Bymaster, will be attending on behalf of Blend. Jeff will be on-site connecting with fellow ULI members, industry leaders, and partners to discuss current market initiatives and explore opportunities for collaboration.
His presence reflects Blend’s ongoing commitment to working alongside architecture and development teams by providing BIM modeling, architectural documentation, and coordination services that support informed design decisions and long-term project performance. Events like this allow us to stay closely connected to the conversations shaping the AEC industry today—particularly those centered on resilience, sustainability, and community impact.
Let’s Connect
We look forward to engaging with the ULI LA community and contributing to conversations that help shape more thoughtful, inclusive, and resilient built environments.
Let’s Blend!
We’d love to connect and keep building together.
